MOTORS, MOTORMOUNTS & LINESHAFTS
There are two ways to approach the motor. The first option is our
decorative motor mount installed vertically on a wall. The other option
is to simply mount a motor with the proper pulley directly on the wall
or hidden in another room or closet. In all cases the motor must be horizontal
for lubrication purposes.
Lineshafts are used when fans are placed too far apart for belting
to be practical or when fans are at different levels. They can be horizontal
or vertical. Motor mounts may be connected directly to lineshafts by
using a coupler.
*Please Note:
- We recommend you use a technician who is familiar with industrial type motors.
- Noise levels are dependent upon what the motor is mounted to.
- Timber frame, brick, stone, and concrete will dampen any motor vibration.
- Stick frames will possibly enhance resonance and cause the motor to be noisier.
- It's important to select the proper motor for your unique situation.
